I respect and am committed to protecting your privacy. I will only use the information that is collect about you lawfully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.

2. What type of information I have?
I currently collect and process the following information as part of your project work:
- Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics, i.e. your name, contact details, postal address(es) and other data that relates to an individual person where relevant, for example your spouse or dependent's contact details.
- Details of your house, land and any other property only to the extent to which any architectural design or technical services is required in order to deliver such services requested. Refer to section 3 below described under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), identifying the lawful bases I rely on when processing your information which is considered a 'legitimate interest'.
3. How I obtain the information and why I have it?
Most of the personal information I process is provided directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- In order to carry out the architectural designs or technical services offered.
- In order to apply for regulatory permissions i.e. Planning & Building Regulations.
- Information may need to be shared with other Consultants who would need to also be involved in the processes of obtaining permissions, designs, calculations, etc. This would be communicated to clients, either at the time of appointment or outlined in my Fee Proposal letter. And you have the right to withdraw consent to process your information if you so choose.

- establishing a project brief.
- on drawings (physical and PDF/ other digital media).
- in models or visualisations.
- in specification/strategy documents.
Where applicable, I may from time to time also receive personal information indirectly from the following sources in the following scenarios:
- Other contacts or consultants related to the Client or Client's representatives, i.e. a consultant chosen by the Client following my appointment. Any data or information collected indirectly and why it is collected will be communicated at the earliest possible opportunity.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Lee Johnson on any of the above contact details as set out in Section 1 above.
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.
(d) We have a vital interest.
(e) We need it to perform a public task.
(f) We have a legitimate interest.
4. What I do with the information I have?
I use the information that you have given in order to carry out my duties as listed in section 3 above.
We may share this information with other professional bodies, i.e. consultants, surveying companies, Planning and or Building Control, Statutory Authorities, i.e. water, gas , electric, highways - but only where the project details dictate information is required.
5. How your information is stored?
Your information is securely stored at the address noted in Section 1 .
I would only keep any relevant personal information gathered for a period of 6 years, which is the end of limitation period. I will then dispose of your information either by incinerator or shredder, or if digital information this will be deleted from any hard-drives.
6. Your data protection rights.
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
a) Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
b) Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
c) Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
d) Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
e) Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
f) Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
